Reproduction in Humans (

How is sexual reproduction done by male to female? Explain it in 2 para 100-200 words.

Sexual reproduction in humans involves the fusion of male and female gametes (sperm and egg) to form a new individual. The process begins with copulation (sexual intercourse), where the male deposits semen into the female’s vagina through the penis. Semen contains millions of sperms, which travel through the cervix and uterus into the fallopian tube, where fertilization occurs. During fertilization, one sperm fuses with the egg, forming a zygote. This marks the beginning of a new life. The zygote undergoes cell division and develops into an embryo, which then implants itself in the uterus lining, leading to pregnancy.

Once implanted, the embryo develops over nine months (gestation period). The placenta, a special organ, supplies nutrients and oxygen to the growing fetus while removing waste products. After full development, the baby is born through the vagina (normal delivery) or by a surgical process (Cesarean section). This entire process ensures genetic variation, which is essential for evolution and survival. Thus, sexual reproduction in humans leads to the birth of a new individual by combining genetic material from both parents.

What is the use of condoms during sex? Explain .

1. Use of Condoms
Condoms are a barrier method of contraception used during sexual intercourse to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

They work by blocking the entry of sperm into the female reproductive system, preventing fertilization. Condoms also act as a protective barrier against infections such as HIV/AIDS, syphilis, and gonorrhea. They are one of the safest and most widely used contraceptive methods because they are affordable, easily available, and have no hormonal side effects.
